Executive Leadership in Radiology Operations

Radiology Diligence is led by Nigel de Wit, an executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience in healthcare technology and business operations, including more than 15 years serving as both Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for a multi-site outpatient imaging organization. Nigel continues to serve in executive leadership and advisory roles, bringing current operational, strategic, and commercial experience to every engagement.

During his executive career, Nigel was responsible for imaging center operations, technology strategy, cybersecurity, vendor negotiations, budgeting, reimbursement initiatives, acquisitions, operational improvement, and business growth. This combination of operational, technical, and commercial leadership provides buyers with an executive perspective that complements the expertise performed by financial, legal, technical and transaction advisors.

Having operated the type of businesses buyers are acquiring, Nigel helps buyers identify operational dependencies, technology risks, vendor opportunities, reimbursement considerations, workflow inefficiencies, deferred investment, and value creation opportunities that are frequently overlooked during traditional financial and equipment due diligence.

Where appropriate and with the seller’s approval, Nigel conducts Executive Operational Assessments, walking the practice through the eyes of an experienced imaging center executive. By evaluating facility condition, workflow, technology, management, patient experience, and operational culture, he provides buyers with practical insight that cannot be obtained through financial reports, equipment inspections, or virtual data rooms alone.
